Spa! Saturday 17 May 2008

I woke up at 10.45 am... barely could open my eyes.. luckily my hubby gave me a nice long cuddle to coax me out of bed... he also reminded me that i had full body massage appt at 12pm..
I hesitated for a moment... took a deep breath... stood up from the bed.. trodded to the kitchen to look for some food...
Poured out some brown rice puffs... and grabbed a handful of crispy seaweed strips... plonked my bum down on the dining chair... sipped some of my soya milk and ate breaky... to my surprise it was a nice combi... Delicious... i could see that i was gona be late for my appt... as it was already 11.15am, by the time i ate and pooed... hahaha
i showered and left hm by 12pm... nah nah.. late late lor...
i reached the spa pl at 12.30pm... thank GOD its only at Novena...
HA! they made me wait for almost 15 mins...see dont hv to be early....
the receptionist... cant even speak well.. she really spoke like some coffeeshop auntie... looks presentable... but when she open her mouth..GONE!
the ones who were soft spoken and gentle were the therapists.... she ushered me in to the room... told me to change and she started her massage... it was to be Indo Jamu Slimming Massage... but it didn't felt like it....
Cos i heard her speaking to one of her collegues in malay,"Saya tak tahu Jamu." I was shocked!!!...
I wanted to ask her... but was hving a headache.. so didn't... actually i should huh!!....hmmm...
I had a 'wrap' and they sat me in this corner where they had this steam machine and the curtains drawn.. darn it was so CLAUSTROPHOBIC!... i was telling myself... i hv to get out.. and get out fast!!!...
15 mins later... the theraosit came to rescue me... to a quick shower... and met my hubby for lunch.. at YOTEI...
Yummy... had Cha Soba, Salmon Sashimi, Salmon Sushi, Chawanmushi, Hotate Sushi and a Salmon Handroll... Oh la la.. I just love Jap food... and washed it all down with Green Tea... :)
